Quieta
Fresh, natural and full of energy, just like the island where she comes from, Quieta is the mascot of Quinta dos Açores and the brand’s spokesperson for children.
For this reason, Quieta embodies characteristics that make her a friend and companion for adventures. Her mission is to create fun and enjoyable moments through her games and activities.
Quieta is an adult and responsible cow who always maintains a playful attitude. The positive values that characterise her — friendship, respect for others and the environment, generosity, honesty and perseverance — are naturally conveyed to children.
Our mascot is inspired by a real cow, also named Quieta, who was part of our childhood. She was a pet and one of the most mischievous, happy and friendly cows we had the privilege of knowing.

Her books are inspired by the real relationship between Quieta and the three Barcelos sisters, the current Directors of Grupo Barcelos, and also feature plenty of fantasy and fun, combined with moments typical of life in the Azores.
