Quinta dos Açores Matured Cheeses
Produced in the Azores Inspired by Nature
We offer a wide range of matured cheeses, produced in the Azores using pasture-raised milk.
Our cheeses are traditionally produced using cloth moulds and have a more intense colour and a distinctive flavour, typical of Azorean cheeses, highlighting the quality of pasture-raised milk.
Made with pasteurised cow’s milk, they preserve the nutritional and organoleptic characteristics of their raw material.
- High in calcium, phosphorus and iodine

Quinta Amanteigado Cheese | 200g, 400g and 700g
A buttery cheese with a mild flavour and aroma, soft texture, pliable rind, yellowish colour and an ageing period of approximately 20 days.

Quinta Pimenta da Terra Cheese | 200g and 400g
A buttery cheese flavoured with pimenta da terra (Azorean red pepper). It has a semi-soft paste, soft texture and pliable reddish rind.
Enriched with this typical Azorean spice, Quinta Pimenta da Terra Cheese combines a genuinely Azorean flavour. It has an ageing period of approximately 20 days.

Mina Cremoso Cheese | 200g and 400g
Slightly acidic flavour, mild aroma, white and creamy paste and yellowish rind. Approximately 20 days of ageing.
At the heart of our agricultural land, the fertile and abundant pastures of Mina inspired the name of this cheese.
Mina Cheese received an honourable mention at the 2013 Portuguese Cheese Competition, organised by ANIL (in the Cow’s Milk Cheese – Standard Ageing category).

Morião Long-Aged Cheese | 350g and 700g
A distinctive product with an intense flavour and aroma, firm paste, yellowish rind and a prolonged ageing period of at least 3 months.
The name of this cheese was inspired by one of the Group’s pastures, located near Serra do Morião.
Morião Cheese was awarded Best Long-Aged Cow’s Milk Cheese twice at the Portuguese Cheese Competition, organised by ANIL, in 2014 and 2016. It also received an honourable mention in the same category in 2013 and 2017.

Quinta Garlic & Açaflor Cheese | 200g and 400g
To the mild flavour of our Quinta Amanteigado cheese, we add a distinctive combination: garlic and açaflor.
Açaflor is a spice widely used in Azorean cuisine and comes from a flower. Its reddish threads, besides being decorative, provide a characteristic flavour and give the cheese a yellowish appearance both inside and out.

Quinta Garlic & Parsley Cheese | 200g and 400g
We add to our Quinta Amanteigado cheese a combination that never disappoints: garlic and parsley.
A perfect combination for sharing, which also stands out for its attractive appearance, with parsley visible both inside the cheese and on the rind.
