According to the Food Wheel, dairy products should represent 18% of our daily food intake, which corresponds to 2-3 servings per day.
The general population should consume 2 servings, with the exception of children and teenagers, who need 3 servings.
What is a portion?
1 cup of milk (250ml)
1 liquid yogurt or 1 and ½ solid yogurt (200g)
2 thin slices of cheese (40g)
¼ fresh cheese – medium size (50g)
½ cottage cheese – medium size (100g)
